I have always loved people and been fueled by a passion for helping others. I spent 20 years as a public educator, first as a teacher, then as a school counselor. I have been in the counseling field for five years now, and I am very excited for the opportunity to work with the incredible team at CMS Counseling.
A session with me is not one-sided. I will work with you, sharing insights and strategies, as you build a beautiful and meaningful life. Recognizing the individuality in everyone, I employ an eclectic approach to therapy. I draw heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems, but my approach is always person-centered and individualized.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with a variety of issues. As an LGBTQIA+ therapist, I openly welcome individuals who are a part of this community as well as those who are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. I look forward to the opportunity to walk beside and support you as you connect with your best self and build your best life.
