Christine is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC#007940) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. Christine is trained in psychotherapy and psychometrics. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in education from Piedmont College. She received her Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. Christine is also a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association (LPCA) of Georgia.

Christine believes coming to a therapist is an enlightening experience; it can make a once chaotic and out of control life become peaceful and have meaning. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy as her main methods for therapy; however, she will draw from other therapy types to give her clients the best therapeutic experience where they can thrive.

Christine loves working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her experience lies in behavior management, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life changes, adjustment issues, and addiction issues as it related to the addict and to the family. She sees children from blended and divorced families, along with children in foster care. She offers parenting assistance to parents who are struggling with their children’s behaviors or have challenges co-parenting. She sees therapy as a family experience, regardless of which family member is the client, the whole family benefits from progress in therapy.

At the initial visit, she will do an intake interview that lasts about 1.5 hours and allows you to provide her with all the background information she will need. She will the discuss what her initial thoughts are and how she might proceed with therapy.

Christine offers appointments on Thursdays 9:00 am - 7:00 pm at the Gainesville location.

Mondays 9:00-7:00, Wednesdays 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and Fridays 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Buford location. Teletherapy also available upon request.

Amerigroup, Anthem BC/BS, Humana, and Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, United Healthcare.

 

Private pay also available:

$150.00 for initial intake interview

$125.00 per session.
