Counseling provides people with an ability to increase their insight and perspective about themselves. It enables them with appropriate skills to navigate the world around them while caring for themselves. It allows people to learn how to regulate and express their thoughts and feelings in healthy ways. Once someone has the opportunity to process their experiences, they develop the self-efficacy needed to change unhealthy patterns.
I draw from a variety of treatment modalities in order to provide clients with the most effective therapy. It is my ambition to provide advocacy, encouragement, and empathy.
I work primarily with children and adolescents. My areas of expertise are trauma-focused therapy, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and emotional regulation.
My office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in your healing process.
